APS is a county protective service program that accepts reports of abuse and neglect regarding people over 65 years of age and people ages 18 to 64 who are dependent adults. The purpose of APS is to investigate and seek to correct situations involving abuse, neglect or exploitation. This is accomplished with a thorough investigation of the allegations and the linking of the alleged victim with appropriate community resources. APS works with individuals, their families, friends, neighbors, and community agencies to provide services and help victims maintain themselves in a safe environment.

In this program you'll learn how to spot abuse, and most importantly, how to report it to keep seniors and other loved ones safe.
